        -

Realizing your gardening aspirations requires dedication and patience. I can help you move from that initial flicker of inspiration to a beautifully realized space.

        -

My journey to create Edimental Gardens emerged from an immense appreciation for the beauty of the natural world. Although I am primarily self-taught, I have had the privilege to learn from experienced gardeners, elders, and horticulturists who have shown me the art of nurturing green spaces.
In 2020, I transformed my uniquely shaped front yard into Momiyama Farms. The experience led me to delve into the principles of Feng Shui, permaculture, and thoughtful design, ultimately giving birth to an edimental garden. Today, I share the insights I gained, guiding others on integrating edibles, flowers, and vegetables within the confines of urban settings.
For many Angelenos, growing up near an edible garden is a rarity, and sadly, the art of gardening has faded for many due to urban living. Generations have missed the chance to learn these vital skills.
        My philosophy on garden design
There is no one-size-fits-all approach to garden design. Various styles and cultural practices inspire the evolution of your garden. Gardens are in a constant state of transformation; they grow, flourish, fade, regenerate, and the cycle continues.

Each garden narrates its own tale, reflecting the environment it inhabits and the distinct vision of the gardener who nurtured it.

        My green space philosophy
I embrace universal patterns, fractalism, and the natural rhythms of the seasons. My garden beds are densely planted, and I use companion planting, composting, ollas, hand-watering, and permaculture techniques.
        Yes, it may sound unconventional!!
Indeed, I choose not to use irrigation. I rely on hand-watering. While it is labor-intensive and I face challenges such as inconsistent water delivery, evaporation, and wet foliage, hand watering has taught me invaluable lessons about my plants. I can recognize when they are content, thirsty, struggling, or, above all, thriving. The most significant lesson I learned is that happy plants showcase resilience.
        How can I assist you?
For many Angelenos, growing up near an edible garden is a rarity, and sadly, the art of gardening has faded for many due to urban living. Generations have missed the chance to learn these vital skills.

You will learn to connect with nature, your surroundings, and your kitchen by engaging my services.

Imagine standing in your backyard, lemonade in hand, gazing at an overgrown patch where your envisioned garden lies. The soil is barren, a few plants are at war with each other, and that "low-maintenance" succulent you planted last year appears to be fading. Enter your edimental garden consultant – part visionary, part artist, and full-time plant advocate.
My mission is to impart knowledge in one year that typically takes five or ten years of solo gardening experience. I start by analyzing your space, not just the visible aspects, but what lies underneath. What kind of soil do you have? Is that shady corner a friend or foe? Does your "full sun" patio turn into a sauna by midday? What microclimate do you possess?
Next, we envision the potential – vibrant edible flowers sprawling from a trellis, your cherished indoor items reimagined for outdoor use, perhaps a solar fountain, or a native pollinator garden. The options are boundless.
Then comes the plant matchmaking, aligning your garden with flora that flourishes in your environment. Whether fragrant lemon thyme, container-grown citrus, or tomatoes, we will ensure you have a comprehensive plan to achieve your gardening objectives.
        Call for a consultation
I am here to share my wisdom and reignite your passion for crafting your green haven. Together, we will enjoy each moment, reduce stress, enhance your well-being, elevate your spirits, and nurture the garden of your dreams.
